The Cabernet Sauvignon Collio DOC by Renato Keber is a red wine that reflects the character of the grape variety within the Collio context. With an intense ruby color, it shows a bouquet featuring dark berries, plum and ripe cherry, complemented by subtle herbal hints and delicate spice. The profile remains composed and focused on balance rather than aromatic excess.

Winery history
The Keber family settled in Zegla in the early 20th century: great-grandfather Franc arrived from Vipulzano in 1900. The estate is family-run across four generations and began exports to the USA in the 1990s.
Production philosophy
Focus on expressive, age-worthy wines; extended lees ageing in steel and selectively in wood. For some wines (e.g. Ribolla 'Extreme') traditional practices are used, such as open-cement maceration with indigenous yeasts and no temperature control.
Terroir and vineyards
Location Zegla, Cormòns (Collio). Collio: gently sloping south‑east hill near the Slovenian border; soils known as 'ponca' (middle Eocene marl and sandstone / Cormons flysch), highly suitable for viticulture.
