The Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo DOC from Tenuta Ulisse is a rosé with an immediate presence, its colour recalling pale cherry with bright highlights. On the nose it opens with a fragrant, composed profile: scents of fresh red fruit, small berries and a delicate floral note that does not overpower. On the palate it shows a balance of freshness and substance, with restrained acidity and a slight sapidity that supports the drink; the body is slender yet present, with a clean, persistent finish that invites another sip.

It is a versatile wine suitable for informal occasions and for the table: it pairs well with seafood starters, crudités, light fish dishes and non-aged cured meats, and can also stand up to summer vegetarian dishes. Serve chilled, around 8–12 °C, and drink young to appreciate its aromatic freshness. Tenuta Ulisse offers here a rosé focused on accessibility and everyday enjoyability, without seeking excessive complexity.

Winery history
Family origins: family winemaking dates to 1945; company mission stated in 1982. The Tenuta Ulisse project took shape in the early 2000s (experiments from 2003). Cellar construction and first vinifications began in 2006; first commercial sales in 2007. The company reports reaching 15 million bottles produced in 2023.
Production philosophy
Ulisse Method: preserve berry integrity to transfer the grape into the glass. Use of modern technologies (including thermal shock/freezing of grapes), rigorous grape selection, packaging innovation (glass stopper) and careful attention to detail.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards concentrated around Crecchio (province of Chieti, Abruzzo), in hilly areas between sea and the Majella and Gran Sasso mountains. They cultivate native Abruzzo varieties such as Pecorino, Montepulciano, Trebbiano, Passerina and Cococciola.
