Chambave Muscat DOC from the Aosta Valley, made by La Crotta di Vegneron, places the Muscat grape and its connection to the appellation at the centre of its identity. The geographical reference locates the wine in the Aosta Valley, while the DOC designation identifies its category of origin. The aromatic profile typically associated with Muscat offers a useful point of reference, though its intensity and specific notes may vary. For this reason, the wine in the glass and the information on the label are the best guides to its character. La Crotta di Vegneron offers a white wine for those wishing to explore the Aosta Valley without assuming that it shares every characteristic of other expressions of the grape.

At the table, it can be served as an aperitif or alongside starters and light dishes. These are suggestions rather than fixed pairings and can be adapted to the wine’s style and the preparation. Serving it chilled can bring out its aromatic side without masking it with excessive cold. It is an option to consider for a convivial occasion or a simple meal, leaving room for a personal impression of the wine in the glass.
