Pairing Fish and seafood
Ruinart Champagne Blanc de Blancs offers an elegant, luminous profile with fine bubbles. On the nose there are impressions of white flowers, ripe citrus and subtle hints of white-fleshed fruit, together with a fresh character and a pleasant minerality. On the palate it shows balance between liveliness and softness, with persistent acidity supporting the sip and a saline finish that invites another taste.

Suitable as an aperitif, it pairs well with fish, shellfish and light vegetarian dishes. Recommended serving temperature is around 8–10 °C and a generous glass helps to reveal the delicate aromas and the texture of the bubbles. This Champagne is versatile and expresses the Maison's style in a restrained way, ideal for convivial occasions when freshness and finesse are sought without excess.

Ruinart – Winery in Champagne (Reims)

Discover the story and wines of Ruinart.

Maison Ruinart, the oldest established Champagne house, founded on 1 September 1729 in Reims; renowned for a Chardonnay-driven style and its historic chalk cellars (crayères).
Region: Champagne (Reims)
Country: France
Winery history
Founded on 1 September 1729 by Nicolas Ruinart, inspired by the monk Dom Thierry Ruinart. In the 18th century the House acquired the underground crayères in Reims for ageing; the family became Ruinart de Brimont in 1817. The House continues its historic activity in Reims and the Champagne region.
Production philosophy
Pursuit of elegance with Chardonnay as the emblematic grape, care for terroir and living soils, commitment to sustainable viticulture (HVE and Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne certifications), collaborations with the arts, and innovation in eco‑designed packaging (e.g. "Seconde Peau").
Terroir and vineyards
Champagne region (France): grapes come mainly from the Côte des Blancs and the northern slopes of the Montagne de Reims. Historic vineyards include Sillery (Grand Cru) and Taissy (Premier Cru). The historic crayères are dug beneath Reims.
