The Champagne Cuvée CXVI Blanc de Blancs - Domaine Augustin is born in the heart of the Champagne region, a territory renowned for its ability to best express the Chardonnay grape variety. This wine stands out for its purity and precision, exclusively made from selected Chardonnay grapes, coming from vineyards located on soils rich in limestone and chalk, characteristics that give structure and finesse to the final product.

The Classic Method of winemaking, with a second fermentation in the bottle and a long aging on the lees, gives this Blanc de Blancs a surprising aromatic complexity and a creamy texture that envelops the palate. On the nose, elegant notes of white flowers, fresh citrus, and slight hints of almond emerge, while on the palate, a vibrant acidity and a mineral persistence invite further sips.

Ideal as an aperitif or paired with delicate seafood dishes, this Champagne represents a refined and authentic expression of the Champagne terroir and the skilled hand of Domaine Augustin.

Winery history
Estate associated with Maison Parcé Frères; Augustin Parcé returned to Banyuls in 2014 to establish his own project within the family vineyards, enhancing the area's historic parcels. The estate is presented as the result of work and expertise handed down through the family.
Production philosophy
Careful vineyard work on slate terraces, controlled yields and targeted vinification to respect each plot; in the cellar low-intervention practices are employed to express the terroir.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards on steep terraced slopes of schist soils in the Banyuls/Collioure area along the Costa Vermeille, at the foot of the Pyrenees — a typical Roussillon terroir. The labels are tied to the local appellations.
