The Coteaux Vendômois Chenin Blanc Sec Pente Coutis by Patrice Colin is an exquisite example of how the Chenin Blanc grape can excel in the Loire region of France. This dry white wine impresses with its freshness and aromatic complexity. Produced strictly with sustainable farming methods, the vineyard benefits from an optimal location that allows the grapes to mature perfectly, delivering intense and well-balanced flavors.

In the glass, the wine presents a bright straw yellow color. On the nose, it opens with vibrant notes of ripe fruit, such as green apple and peach, followed by hints of white flowers and a slight mineral touch that adds elegance. On the palate, the texture is crisp and well-structured, with a lively acidity leading to a long and pleasantly fresh finish.

The Coteaux Vendômois Chenin Blanc Sec Pente Coutis is ideal to serve as an aperitif or paired with fish dishes, seafood, and soft cheeses. Its elegance and freshness make it perfect for special occasions or as a sophisticated daily choice for white wine enthusiasts.

Winery history
The estate's agricultural origins date back centuries; the Colin family has passed vineyard management down through several generations, and direct sales developed around the turn of the 20th century. Today the estate, run by the family, is recognized as one of the historic estates of the Coteaux du Vendômois and has progressively developed direct sales and wine tourism.
Production philosophy
Production focused on expressing the terroir, with minimal interventions in vineyard and cellar: conversion to and practice of organic/biodynamic methods, selective harvesting, and winemaking using simple techniques to highlight the vineyards and soil.

Located in the Loir Valley, within the Coteaux du Vendômois area, the estate farms vineyards planted on clay, flint and limestone soils typical of the region. The vines are spread around Thoré‑la‑Rochette.
