Pairing Red meats, roasts, aged cheeses
Fontemerlano from the Castello di Cacchiano winery is a Toscana IGT with an elegant and complex character, an authentic expression of the terroir of this renowned area in the province of Siena. It is mainly produced from Sangiovese, the emblematic grape variety of Tuscany, which imparts a lively aromatic profile and a balanced structure to the wine.

The aging in oak barrels adds spicy nuances and an enveloping softness to the wine, while the long maturation allows for perfect integration of the tannins and a velvety texture on the palate. On the nose, notes of ripe red fruits, such as cherry and plum, are perceived, accompanied by hints of Mediterranean herbs and a delicate hint of vanilla and tobacco. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet refined, with a long persistence that invites another sip.

Perfect paired with red meats, roasts, and aged cheeses, Fontemerlano Magnum is a privileged choice for those who desire a Tuscan wine with personality, capable of telling the story of a territory destined through a balance between tradition and artisanal care. The Magnum format enhances its longevity and evolution over time in the bottle.
