The Langhe Rosato of Ca' Viola, known as "Rita," is a vibrant and fresh expression of the Langhe region in Piedmont. It is produced mainly with Nebbiolo grapes, the symbol variety of the region, which gives the wine an elegant structure and a refined aromatic profile. Thanks to careful vinification and a short aging in steel, Rita maintains liveliness and freshness, revealing delicate hints of red fruits, such as wild strawberries and cherries, with a floral touch and a pleasant spicy note.

The pale pink color anticipates a fresh sip, endowed with good acidity and lightness, ideal to accompany fish dishes, white meats, or summer aperitifs. This rosé represents a perfect balance between the intense character of Nebbiolo and the softness required of a summer wine, offering a balanced and inviting tasting experience, authentically connected to the Langhe territory.

Winery history
Ca' Viola was established from the winemaking activity of Giuseppe Caviola. The estate took its first steps in the early 1990s, beginning with leased vineyards in Montelupo Albese and its first artisanal vinifications. Over time the business has developed wines of Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo; the production site and hospitality activities are concentrated in Dogliani.
Production philosophy
Strong focus on terroir and quality: production focused on expressing local grapes through minimally invasive vinification, research that blends tradition and innovation, and oenological consultancy to deepen the understanding of wine in its various aspects.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate works vineyards in the Langhe, with principal plots in Montelupo, in Novello and in Bossolasco. The vines are tended on steep slopes and at elevations that contribute structure and longevity to the wines.
Awards and recognitions
Among the advertised accolades is the Barolo Novello 2018, which was awarded five grapes by Bibenda. Founder Giuseppe "Beppe" Caviola is cited as Enologist of the Year in several secondary sources.
