Pairing Red meats, aged cheeses, typical Piedmontese dishes
In the glass it shows a lively ruby color with violet highlights, while the aromatic profile favors fresh-fleshed red fruits, notes of cherry and Morello cherry and a hint of wildflowers. The palate is balanced, medium-bodied, with good acidity that keeps the drinking lively and measured tannins that provide structure without weighing it down; the persistence is consistent, leaving a pleasant note of ripe fruit and slight savoriness. Overall it offers a frank, approachable character, ideal for those looking for an expressive wine without frills.

Pleasant to drink now but versatile at the table: it pairs with traditional cured meats, meat-based first courses, grilled white meats and medium-aged cheeses. Serve at around 16-18 °C, possibly slightly aerated to soften any initial tightness; it is a wine of everyday character that finds its place both at an informal dinner and with dishes from regional cuisine.

Winery history
The story of a farming family from the Langhe that revived local viticulture: after years of mixed farming, management passed to Anna Maria, and she relaunched the estate’s production and the work on its high‑altitude vineyards. The property was rebuilt from the 1990s onwards and the estate has grown to include new vineyards and a presence in Monforte.
Production philosophy
Production focused on respect for the land and the pursuit of elegance and freshness: single-varietal wines that express the specificity of the soil and altitude, made using practices that prioritize craftsmanship, limited use of technology, and a focus on sustainability.
Terroir and vineyards
Langhe: high-altitude vineyards mainly in Farigliano, areas of Alta Langa in Marsaglia and vineyards for Barolo in Monforte d’Alba; calcareous-clay soils and altitudes often above 500 m a.s.l. that enhance freshness and aromaticity.
Awards and recognitions
