The Malvasia Friuli DOC from Pitars presents an immediate and recognizable aromatic profile: white flowers, white peach and light notes of aromatic herbs intertwine with a subtle background of bitter almond. In the glass it shows clarity and straw tones; the bouquet is elegant without being intrusive and displays a balance between aromatic drive and a fresh mineral component that invites the sip.

On the palate it confirms good sapidity, supported by a lively acidity that balances the softness of the fruit; the texture is medium-bodied, with citrusy freshness that lengthens the persistence and a pleasant almond-like return. The wine is smooth but full of personality, suitable both as an aperitif and to stand up to flavorful dishes: seafood appetizers, crustaceans, savory pies, fresh cheeses and herb-based preparations find a good match. Recommended serving temperature is around 10-12 °C and a wide tulip glass to capture its aromas. It is a wine to be enjoyed young to appreciate its vibrant freshness, yet without giving up a decent structure.
