I Croppi is produced in the municipality of Bertinoro, in the province of Forlì Cesena, from organic grapes of Albana, a type characterized by large and sparse grains, pale yellow in color and thick skin. The cultivation of the vines takes place with the double-Guyot training method, a technique used to favor the ripening of the fruit, in a clayey and basically dry soil. The refinement is carried out in barriques for 8 months after the grape harvest which takes place in September.

When poured, it shows a golden yellow color with light coppery reflections. The nose is conquered by its bouquet punctuated by aromas of fruit with yellow and orange pulp. The sip is enveloping, elegant and fresh, persistent and with character.

A glass that lends itself well to being paired with grilled fish, or dishes based on white meat.

Winery history
According to official information, the winery was established in Bertinoro in 1963 and is managed by the Sirri and Casadei families. From traditional farmhouse wines, the estate has progressively shifted its focus to quality and local typicity, developing vineyards around the village and selecting parcels to produce wines of character.
Production philosophy
Emphasis is placed on the connection to the land and on typicity: all wines are produced from estate-grown grapes, and the estate has completed conversion to organic farming for its grapes. The approach favors separate vinification of individual parcels to highlight distinct characteristics and create balanced blends.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards located around the village of Bertinoro, on soils characterized by "spungone". The parcels cited by the estate include La Massa, Cellaimo, Maestrina and Campi di Fratta.
