With a linear, measured profile, this Sylvaner DOC from Thomas Dorfmann stands out for its discreet freshness and balance. On the nose there are hints of white fruit and citrus, accompanied by subtle floral notes and a mineral streak that keeps the palate taut; it doesn't seek spectacle, favoring cleanliness and precision. On the palate it shows good acidity, medium body and a well-calibrated softness that integrates with a pleasant savoriness, while the finish remains honest and of moderate persistence without weighing it down.

It can be enjoyed young but has the freshness to accompany multiple courses: excellent with seafood appetizers, fish cooked en papillote, grilled vegetables or herb-based dishes. Serve chilled, preferably around 8–10 °C, in a glass that allows the aromas to open; its versatility makes it a practical wine for everyday meals for those seeking drinkability, clean flavors and pleasant company at the table.
