The Trebbiano di Romagna IGT "Primo Fiore" from Rocche Malatestiane is announced as a exquisite expression of one of the most representative grape varieties of Romagna. This white wine is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring uncompromised quality that is reflected in every sip.

With a straw yellow color and greenish reflections, "Primo Fiore" reveals a delicate yet complex aromatic bouquet on the nose. Notes of white flowers blend with hints of fresh fruit such as green apple and peach, enhanced by a slight and pleasant nuance of bitter almond that stimulates olfactory curiosity.

In the mouth, freshness takes center stage. The salinity and acidity are excellently balanced, creating a clean and persistent flavor. The structure of "Primo Fiore" is surprisingly robust for a Trebbiano, with a good body that supports its vibrant fruity qualities.

The versatility of this Trebbiano di Romagna makes it an excellent companion for a variety of dishes. It pairs beautifully with light appetizers, fish dishes, and seafood. Equally charming is its pairing with fresh cheeses and vegetable-based dishes.

"Primo Fiore" is a wine that represents the elegance and the winemaking tradition of Romagna, offered by Rocche Malatestiane, a winery that commits to maintaining high quality standards, preserving traditional techniques while innovating where necessary to enhance its offering. A must for white wine lovers looking for refinement and authenticity.

Winery history
The winery has operated under the name Le Rocche Malatestiane since 1959, evoking the historic Malatesta family. Over time it has developed into a cooperative bringing together numerous winegrowers from the Rimini area; in recent years it has launched projects to enhance Sangiovese and to carry out soil zoning to better express the differences of the local terroirs.
Production philosophy
Focus on regional character by highlighting Sangiovese, careful grape selection, and separate winemaking by terroir. The winery combines conventional practices with investment in soil analysis and underground maturation to enhance the structure and complexity of its wines.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards are situated on the hills of the province of Rimini, from the upper Val Marecchia to the inland area of Cattolica, with exposure to the Adriatic Sea. The wine-growing landscape is described as a mosaic of micro-terroirs with varying altitudes and soil types. The winery also uses an underground cave at Monte Giove for the aging of some wines.
Awards and recognitions
The Sangiovese "Mons Jovis" was awarded First Prize at the Palio del Sangiovese. Several individual labels from the winery have also been highlighted and rated by industry guides and publications.
