The Zibibbo Secco Terre Siciliane IGT 2023 by Mandrarossa is an organic wine that embodies the richness of the Sicilian terroir. Sourced from vineyards cultivated in the heart of Sicily, it best expresses the native grape variety Zibibbo, known for its aromatic and lively character. The color is a bright straw yellow, while on the nose it reveals intense scents of orange blossoms, citrus, and Mediterranean notes combined with refined mineral hints.

On the palate it is dry, fresh, and well balanced, with a pleasant savoriness that recalls proximity to the sea. The aging in steel preserves its freshness and aromatic integrity, making it ideal to accompany fish dishes, flavorful appetizers, and light ethnic cuisine. This Zibibbo by Mandrarossa stands as an authentic and sustainable interpretation of the grape variety, perfect for those seeking an uncompromising Mediterranean tasting experience.

Winery history
Mandrarossa was launched as a brand in 1999 as a Cantine Settesoli project, following more than twenty years of study of the local terroirs. The label was developed to select the best habitats and micro-parcels in the Menfi area and to introduce wines produced through small-scale vinifications and targeted varietal experimentation.
Production philosophy
Terroir research, soil mapping and varietal experimentation to bring out each variety's ideal potential. The approach combines agronomic study, micro-vinifications and vineyard selection to create recognizable expressions of Sicily.
Terroir and vineyards
The main production area is Menfi: hills sloping down to the sea with varied soils that create distinct microclimates, and sea breezes and temperature variations that enhance grape quality. In the Menfishire, Mandrarossa reports a vineyard area of approximately 500 hectares.
Awards and recognitions
Mandrarossa has received numerous national and international accolades: examples include awards and scores from Decanter, Gambero Rosso, James Suckling, Wine Enthusiast, Mundus Vini, Concours Mondial Bruxelles and other international competitions.
