Tuscan winery with estates in Chianti Classico and Maremma, focused on wines produced using an organic approach and offering a range that includes wines, olive oil, grappa and gin. (brancaia.com)
The estate began when the Widmer family purchased the Brancaia hill in the 1980s: from a first podere in Castellina/Poppi it grew into an operation with several estates and iconic wines such as Il Blu, whose square logo was created in the late 1980s. In subsequent years the winery expanded its holdings to include plots in Chianti Classico and Maremma.
