Charme Rosè by Firriato is an elegant and refined expression of the Sicilian territory, a wine that enchants with its freshness and vivacity. Made exclusively from Nerello Mascalese grapes, this rosé stands out for its pale, bright pink color, which hints at a rich and complex bouquet.

On the nose, Charme Rosè offers an inviting range of aromas that span notes of fresh small red fruits, such as strawberries and raspberries, to floral nuances of rose and geranium, enriched by a light touch of pomegranate. The olfactory component is intense yet delicate, reflecting the quality of the selected grapes and the care taken in the winemaking process.

On the palate, freshness is the absolute protagonist. The attack is lively and pleasantly acidic, characterized by good minerality and remarkable aromatic persistence. The structure is balanced, with a perfect harmony between body and acidity, making the wine surprisingly drinkable and suitable for various consumption occasions.

Charme Rosè by Firriato is ideal as an aperitif or paired with light dishes such as summer salads, seafood appetizers, or fish-based dishes. It is also an excellent companion for vegetable dishes or light ethnic cuisine.

In terms of service, it is recommended to enjoy this wine at a temperature of about 8-10°C to fully appreciate its qualities. With an aging potential that extends for several years, Charme Rosè maintains its charm, evolving towards increasingly interesting taste profiles.

In conclusion, Charme Rosè by Firriato is a top-class choice for those seeking a high-quality Sicilian rosé that expresses the character and elegance of its place of origin.

Winery history
Founded as a family project by Salvatore Di Gaetano in the 1980s, Firriato has grown by expanding its presence across multiple estates in Sicily and bringing the island’s wines to international markets. The family has remained actively involved in technical supervision and brand development, over time establishing estates dedicated to production, ampelographic research and hospitality.

The individual estates mentioned in the sources include Baglio Sorìa, Borgo Guarini, Dàgala Borromeo, Pianoro Cuddìa, Giudeo, Cavanera Etnea and Tenuta di Calamoni in Favignana.
