Etna Rosso is produced with the best Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grapes from the Cavanera Etnea estate. The vineyards are cultivated on soils mainly characterized by volcanic sands rich in nutritional elements capable of bringing unique varietal characteristics to the grapes. The vinification is carried out in stainless steel, followed by a refinement in the bottle for 4 months.
A remarkable red that fully expresses all the immense potential of the volcano. In the glass it shows a bright red color with purple hues. The elegant bouquet opens on mineral aromas followed by fruity hints of black currant, blueberries, plum jam and black cherry, with notes of licorice, pepper and dried violet. The taste is energetic and juicy, with subtle tannins and full warmth that allows for a masterful balance.
The ideal wine for dishes based on red meats and game, to try with a duck breast in a currant sauce.
