The Pinot Grigio from Valle Isarco is a white wine that captures the essence of this picturesque alpine region in the heart of Alto Adige. This variety, cultivated on the steep mountain slopes where the mineral-rich soil and cool climate enhance its characteristics, gives rise to wines of exceptional freshness and liveliness.

Visually, the Pinot Grigio Valle Isarco presents a light straw-yellow color, often streaked with greenish reflections that signify its youth and freshness. On the nose, it stands out with a delicate and enchanting bouquet, featuring notes of white-fleshed fruits like pear and apple, often accompanied by hints of citrus and white flowers that add a pleasant complexity.

In the mouth, the wine reveals an elegant and well-balanced structure. Its liveliness is supported by fresh acidity leading to a persistent finish with a slight minerality, typical of the porphyritic soils of Valle Isarco. This characteristic gives the wine a pleasant sapidity that invites a second sip.

The Pinot Grigio Valle Isarco is versatile in culinary pairings: it pairs beautifully with light appetizers, fish or seafood dishes, and can be an excellent companion for a variety of Mediterranean cuisine dishes. Also excellent as an aperitif, this wine offers moments of pure olfactory and gustatory pleasure.

Elegant, refreshing, and deeply rooted in its territory, the Pinot Grigio Valle Isarco is an example that tells the story and winemaking tradition of one of Italy's most fascinating regions. A must for lovers of high-quality white wines seeking a distinctive and memorable sensory experience.

Winery history
The Isarco Valley has an ancient winemaking tradition. Cantina Valle Isarco was founded in 1961 by a group of local winegrowers. Over time its production facilities have been renewed and it expanded its public services with a modern wine shop. In 2021 the winery celebrated its 60th anniversary and refreshed its image and labels.
Production philosophy
Highlighting the distinctive qualities of the mountain terroir through collaboration among small winegrowers: the winery operates as a cooperative to preserve its connection with the local landscape and to focus on grape quality, with particular attention to the white varieties typical of the Isarco Valley.
