The Pinot Bianco Isonzo by Tenuta Luisa is an elegant white wine that reflects the essence of the terroir of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, more precisely from the Isonzo area. This variety, known for its refinement, is cultivated in an ideal microclimate that enhances its unique characteristics.

To the eye, the Pinot Bianco Isonzo presents a pale straw-yellow color, crossed by greenish reflections that underline its freshness. On the nose, a delicate yet complex bouquet emerges, with aromatic notes of white-fleshed fruits such as pear and apple, enriched by floral nuances and a light touch of fresh almond.

On the palate, the wine is harmonious and well-balanced. The entry is soft, followed by a pleasant acidity that leads to a clean and persistent finish. The structure is subtle but well-defined, with a slight minerality reflecting the peculiarity of the Isonzo's alluvial soils.

Perfect as an aperitif, Pinot Bianco Isonzo by Tenuta Luisa pairs beautifully with light appetizers, fish-based dishes or seafood, and can be considered an excellent companion for spring vegetable dishes.

This wine not only demonstrates Tenuta Luisa's commitment to quality viticulture but is also a tribute to the potential of Pinot Bianco in a region that enhances its virtues through careful and respectful work of the vine and the environment. An ideal choice for those looking for a fresh white, but with a certain complexity and elegance.

Winery history
A family history that began with the purchase of the first plots by Francesco Luisa in the early 20th century. The estate has grown over several generations with documented milestones: expansion of the vineyards, construction of a new winery in the 1990s, and the launch of premium lines such as "I Ferretti" and "Millésimée". The estate's website records the first purchase of 5 hectares in 1907 and progressive growth to more than 100 hectares today.
Production philosophy
Vineyard-to-glass approach: quality that originates in the vineyard through low yields, high planting density and targeted treatments. In the winery, intervention is limited and aging is carefully managed for the selections. The winery also declares a commitment to environmental sustainability, with practices that have received recognitions and certifications as noted in the sources.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards located on the plain between Collio and Carso, within the DOC Friuli Isonzo. Soils consist of mixed gravel and decalcified limestone with clayey sections. Approximate elevation 35–50 m above sea level. The climate is influenced by the Bora and Scirocco, with diurnal temperature variations that favour aromatic ripening.
