The Pecorino d’Abruzzo vinified and aged in amphora by Cirelli shows an immediate yet refined character: on the nose there is a combination of citrus and white-fleshed fruit, supported by delicate white flowers and a mineral note that underlines its origin. The use of the amphora gives the sip a more enveloping texture and a light tannic component, noticeable without aggressiveness; the result is a white that retains freshness and aromatic purity, with a pleasant roundness that balances its liveliness.

On the palate the acidity is lively but well integrated, the body medium and the sapidity make the wine smooth and of good persistence, with a slightly saline finish. It pairs well with simple, tasty seafood dishes — oysters, shellfish, grilled fish — and fresh goat cheeses; serve at around 10–12 °C in a large glass to appreciate its aromas and texture.
