The Bianco DOP "Pectus" Falerno del Massico from Fattoria Pagano presents itself as a regional white that interprets the appellation with balance and clarity. It offers aromas of white-fleshed fruit, delicate white flowers and mineral hints; on the palate it shows good freshness, well-calibrated acidity and a soft structure that supports a harmonious, savory finish. The structure is not excessive and the persistence is pleasantly moderate. We do not state any features not provided, but the overall impression is of an approachable, enjoyable wine suitable for those seeking a direct expression of the territory.

It is best served chilled, in not-too-large glasses, and can accompany seafood starters, light fish dishes, vegetables and fresh cheeses. Ideal for informal meals and convivial moments, it also maintains balance as an aperitif wine. Fattoria Pagano is indicated as the producer; for further details on vintage, grape varieties or aging consult the label or the producer.

Winery history
Founded in 2001 by Antonio Pagano to promote and valorize Falerno del Massico; the estate developed terraced vineyards in Casale di Carinola and expanded viticultural activities into parts of Irpinia.
Production philosophy
Organic viticulture and respect for nature: care for soil, microclimate and biodiversity; manual harvesting and practices aimed at obtaining intact grapes. Measured use of wood aging for some wines (e.g., Pectus).
Terroir and vineyards
Headquarters in Carinola (province of Caserta). Vineyards on the slopes of Monte Massico / the extinct Roccamonfina volcano (e.g., the Pectus vineyard at 320 m asl, west exposure, sandy soil with volcanic ash). Own vineyards are mainly in Carinola (two terraces) with parcels in Altavilla; the estate also manages vineyards in parts of Irpinia for Fiano and Greco.
