Bianco IGT Isola dei Nuraghi - Samas - Agripunica is a refined white wine that comes from Sardinia, an Italian island known for its rich history, breathtaking landscapes and excellent quality wines. Agripunica is a joint venture between two titans of the wine world, Tenuta San Guido, famous for its Sassicaia, and the Sardinian winery Cantina Sociale di Santadi. This collaboration aims to explore and enhance the winemaking potential of the island, with a particular focus on the Sulcis region, in the south-west of Sardinia.

"Samas" takes its name from the ancient sun gods worshiped in Sardinia, and the wine is produced under the IGT (Typical Geographical Indication) Isola dei Nuraghi, a denomination that encompasses the entire island, allowing great freedom in the expression of the vines and winemaking techniques. Samas is mainly composed of Vermentino and Chardonnay grapes, with a small percentage of other native vines, which give the wine a unique and distinctive character.

At sight, Bianco IGT Isola dei Nuraghi Samas has a bright straw yellow color, with greenish reflections that suggest freshness and liveliness. On the nose, the wine offers an intensely fruity and floral aromatic bouquet, with notes of white peach, citrus, wild flowers and a light mineral accent, which reflects the richness of the Sardinian terroir.

In the mouth, Samas is elegant and well balanced, with a fresh acidity that supports its structure and accentuates the palette of fruity and floral flavors. The minerality is also felt on the palate, adding complexity and a pleasant flavor to the sip, which leads to a long and persistent finish.

Ideal as an aperitif, Agripunica's Bianco IGT Isola dei Nuraghi Samas pairs beautifully with fish dishes, seafood, light appetizers and fresh cheeses, offering a tasting experience that celebrates the diversity and richness of Mediterranean flavours.
