The Brunello di Montalcino DOCG "Fortezza" from Cantina di Montalcino is a refined expression of one of Italy's most celebrated wines, renowned for its robustness and aromatic depth. Made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes, hand-selected from vineyards located on the historic hills of Montalcino, this wine is a true symbol of high-quality Tuscan viticulture.

Once harvested, the Brunello "Fortezza" follows a rigorous vinification process. Fermentation occurs at a controlled temperature to preserve the natural varietal qualities of the grapes, followed by a lengthy aging process of at least four years, with a minimum of two years in oak barrels. This traditional method allows the wine to develop a complex balance between its tannic structure and the elegance of the fruit.

In the glass, the Brunello di Montalcino "Fortezza" displays an intense ruby red color that shifts to garnet hues with aging. The bouquet is broad and complex, featuring notes of ripe cherry, tobacco, and spices, enriched by delicate hints of chocolate and leather that emerge with bottle aging.

On the palate, the wine offers a robust yet harmonious structure, with finely woven tannins and a persistent finish that leaves a velvety and spicy sensation. Its well-balanced acidity and depth of flavor make it an ideal companion for rich and savory dishes, such as red meat roasts, game, and aged cheeses.

The Brunello di Montalcino "Fortezza" is not only suitable for special occasions but also a wine with great aging potential, capable of evolving and refining its complexity if stored under optimal conditions.

When you decide to introduce into your selection a wine that expresses rich territorial heritage and artisanal dedication, the Brunello di Montalcino DOCG "Fortezza" from Cantina di Montalcino is a choice that promises to elevate the experience of every connoisseur.
