The Brunello di Montalcino DOCG - Fortezza, produced by the renowned Cantina di Montalcino, is a superb expression of elegance and refinement, reflecting the exceptional terroir of the Tuscan region. This wine is a pure Sangiovese, the emblematic grape variety of the area, which is meticulously cared for to ensure superior quality.

After a meticulous selection of the grapes, the Brunello di Montalcino DOCG by Fortezza undergoes a long maturation period, spending at least four years between oak barrels and bottle aging. This process imparts noteworthy complexity and an intensely layered aromatic bouquet to the wine.

Visually, it presents a deep ruby red color, tending towards garnet with aging. On the nose, the Brunello di Montalcino by Fortezza stands out for its intense aromas of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and plums, with hints of spices, leather, tobacco, and dark chocolate that evolve as the wine breathes.

On the palate, it is rich and enveloping, with a robust yet elegantly smooth tannic structure, promising excellent aging potential. The balance between the lively acidity and the concentration of ripe fruit is impeccable, leading to a long and persistently harmonious finish.

The Brunello di Montalcino DOCG - Fortezza is ideal for accompanying richly flavored dishes such as red meat roasts, game, and aged cheeses. This wine not only represents the viticultural heart of Montalcino but also offers a tasting experience that remains memorable. Ideal for special occasions or as a prestigious addition to any wine collection.
