Castellero Barolo DOCG 2021 by Giacomo Fenocchio, in magnum format and presented in a wooden case, offers an elegant, concentrated profile. In the glass it shows aromas of Morello cherry, rose petal and light earthy notes; the aromatic structure is clean and well-defined, without excess, immediately revealing a fine texture that invites tasting. The nose also has a discreet touch of spice that adds depth without covering the freshness.

On the palate you appreciate the balance between firm tannins and good acidity that supports the wine’s full body; the palate is consistent and progressive, leaving a pleasant persistence that develops into fruity echoes and hints of licorice. This Barolo is suitable both for considered drinking now and for further aging in the cellar; it pairs with roasted red meats, braised dishes and aged cheeses. Serve at around 16-18°C in large glasses to capture its complexity.
