A unique interpretation in Tuscany of the international Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot vines, characterized by a rare freshness and elegance. Francesca Romana follows fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 28-30°C for 15 days. A wine aged 18 months in French oak barriques and 6 months in the bottle.

A glass that has an intense ruby red color with reflections tending towards garnet. An intense aroma of ripe red fruit and spicy hints give rise to a bewitching and persistent bouquet on the nose. On the palate it is warm, rich and full of spicy notes, the tannins are ripe and velvety and give an intense and long-lasting flavour. A very drinkable red that conquers for the elegance with which it enters the mouth.

Definitely a wine that can represent the Tuscan territory at its best; excellent pairing to serve with soups, grilled red meats, game and roasts, and also exceptional as a meditation wine to be savored in total relaxation.

Winery with an extensive estate of about 60 hectares under vine, set up for visits and tastings.
Winery history
The Terenzi project originated from the family's investment in the Maremma. After Florio Terenzi's move to the countryside, noted as a family initiative since the 1990s, the operation was organised and developed commercially with the construction of the winery and the planting of new vineyards from 2001; today it is managed by the family, including Balbino, Federico and Francesca Romana.
Production philosophy
A pursuit of elegance and expressive clarity, with Sangiovese at the core and measured experimentation with white and international varieties. Vineyard work is oriented toward sustainability, cellar technology serves quality, and attention is paid to territorial identity.
Terroir and vineyards
Situated in the municipality of Scansano in the Tuscan Maremma, the estate benefits from sea breezes and well-drained clay soils. The vineyards extend across hills facing the sea, in a landscape also connected to local cultural projects.
