Mezcal Tepeztate The Claw Edition San Julian del Rio is a unique spirit, obtained from the precious Tepeztate agave grown on the mountainous slopes of Oaxaca, Mexico. This artisanal mezcal perfectly reflects the essence of the territory, where traditional craftsmanship and wild nature merge into a product with great character. The aging takes place in small copper and terracotta stills, which enhance the delicate smoky and mineral notes typical of the varietal.
On the nose, intense aromas of aromatic herbs, wet earth, and a hint of burnt wood reveal themselves, while on the palate it appears complex, with a velvety smoothness and a persistent finish recalling notes of spices and a light touch of citrus.
