The Nizza DOCG Barbera 'Bric del Marchese' from Coppo offers a restrained, measured interpretation of Barbera, produced by a respected local house. In the glass it shows an intense ruby color; on the nose there are impressions of ripe red fruits — cherry and plum — alongside hints of small dark berries and floral nuances. Light spicy notes and a subtle herbal undertone contribute to an overall balanced, understated profile.

On the palate it confirms a fresh, lively framework, with pleasant acidity and measured tannins that support the structure without dominating. It pairs well with traditional dishes based on red meat, roasts or meat sauces, and can also accompany aged cheeses and rustic fare. Serve at around 16–18 °C; a short decanting can help open the aromas. A suitable choice for those seeking a Barbera with character, respectful of its origins and fitting for everyday use and informal occasions.
