Rosso Alto Adige Classico DOC - St. Magdalener - Franz Gojer is born on the sunny hills around Bolzano, the beating heart of the South Tyrolean wine tradition. This wine stands out for its composition based on Schiava, an indigenous grape variety that gives elegance and freshness to the glass. The aging takes place in wooden barrels that enhance delicate fruity and spicy notes, creating a harmonious balance between structure and softness.

On the nose, aromas of cherry, raspberry, and a slight hint of bitter almond open up, while on the palate the drink is fresh, lively, and very pleasant. Thanks to its marked versatility, it pairs perfectly with traditional Tyrolean dishes such as canederli, but also with white meats and fresh cheeses, enhancing their flavors without overpowering them. A refined and authentic proposal that gracefully and personally tells the story of the South Tyrolean terroir.

Winery history
Glögglhof has ancient roots. In the 20th century the property remained in family hands; from the 1970s and 1980s Franz Gojer reduced yields and began bottling on site, creating the Vigna Rondell selection in 1987. In the 2000s the family expanded the vineyards and in 2007 acquired the Cornedo all'Isarco site; in 2011 the liqueur-style "PIPA" was launched. After consolidation work on the cellar, the operational handover to Florian took place in 2021, making the estate a fifth-generation operation.
Production philosophy
Quality that begins in the vineyard: attentive management of each site, careful harvesting and winemaking, and measured cellar interventions to preserve the identity of the grapes and the terroir. The approach is family-run and focused on showcasing local varieties and the estate’s crus.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards concentrated in the Santa Maddalena area and in Cornedo all'Isarco, with varied exposures and soils containing calcareous and moraine components; the Cornedo site is located at around 600 metres above sea level.
