The Spumante Pinot Grigio delle Venezie DOC Extra Dry from Maschio offers a bright, easygoing profile with fine bubbles and lively perlage. The color is pale straw; on the nose there are aromas of apple and white-fleshed pear, white flowers and a light biscuity note that accompanies the fruitiness. On the palate it is slim and immediately approachable, with pleasant freshness, a moderate residual sweetness typical of the Extra Dry category and a clean, saline finish that supports food pairing.

It works well as an aperitif and to accompany starters, baked or grilled fish, shellfish and lighter dishes; it also suits fish-based first courses and risottos that are not overly seasoned. Serve chilled, around 6–8 °C, in a flute to best appreciate the bubbles. As a wine meant for prompt enjoyment, it is ideal for informal occasions and for those seeking a fresh, versatile option.
