Winery history Cantina Rotaliana

Founded as a cooperative in Mezzolombardo in 1931, the winery consolidated following the 1968 merger and has undergone several phases of technological modernization. Over the years it moved from selling bulk wine to producing bottled wine, and in 2002 it relocated to a new production facility, which was expanded in 2011 with new spaces for fermentation, aging and tasting rooms.

Production philosophy

It combines tradition and innovation, focusing on enhancing the local area and respecting the environment, promoting local grape varieties and the development of quality projects and wine tourism hospitality.

Terroir and vineyards

The main vineyards are located in the Piana Rotaliana, a historic area renowned for Teroldego; other grapes come from the surrounding hills and Val di Cembra. The Piana is characterized by a gravelly soil and a microclimate sheltered by the surrounding mountains.
