Winery Ekfraseis

Ekfraseis was founded by winemaker Christos Vassiliades and is based in the village of Chandria, in the Limassol district. The official website states that the winery began as the winemaker’s personal project and has developed into a modern, well-equipped facility designed to enhance the grapes from the area’s high-altitude vineyards.

The winery emphasizes the expression of its mountain terroir: respect for nature, careful attention to the quality of grapes from high-altitude vineyards, and a creative approach to winemaking that alternates classic methods with the winemaker’s experimentation. Based in Chandria, on the slopes of Monte Madari in the Pitsilia area. The estate’s vineyards extend across high-altitude mountain slopes; the winery’s website notes the winery at the foot of Monte Madari and indicates vineyard altitudes in the area of around 1,200 m for some vineyards.
