The story
La Maison Huguenot‑Tassin was created in 1984 by Benoît and Marie‑Claire Huguenot. The family has worked the vines for four generations; as early as the 20th century the Tassin family pressed grapes in the village. The vineyard has expanded to about 6 ha and all harvested grapes are vinified and made into Champagne on the estate.
Production philosophy
Precision viticulture and ecological balance to showcase the terroir: small-scale production, pursuit of expressiveness and elegance. Estate certified Terra Vitis and HVE; member of the Champagne de Vignerons network.
Terroir and vineyards
Côte des Bar (Aube), village of Celles‑sur‑Ource. Predominant grape varieties: Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay; identified parcels (e.g. 'Les Fioles').
