Winery Szepsy

The Szepsy family has been documented as wine producers in Tokaj for centuries; in contemporary sources István Szepsy is cited as a central figure in the region’s quality revival, with a long family tradition tracing its roots back to the historical period of aszú. In recent decades the winery has highlighted selected single-vineyard sites in Mád and other villages of the Tokaj-Hegyalja district, championing both traditional sweet wines and dry, terroir-driven expressions of Furmint.
