Winery Telmont

Henri Lhôpital founded the house in Damery in 1912, following the Champagne riots. The Lhôpital family passed down its savoir-faire for four generations. In 2020, Rémy Cointreau became the majority shareholder, while the house retained its connection with the founding family.

Telmont’s philosophy, expressed through the motto “In the Name of Mother Nature,” places terroir and the protection of nature at the centre. The house combines more sustainable viticulture, transparency and traditional artisanal methods.

The house is located in Damery, near Épernay, at 1 Avenue de Champagne. Its estate vineyard covers more than 20 hectares across eight crus; the house also sources grapes from more than 30 crus in Champagne’s main sub-regions.
