Winery history Venturini Baldini

The property has historical origins dating back to the 16th–17th century. The Venturini Baldini family's modern winemaking activity began in 1976. In 2015 the estate was relaunched by the Prestia family with the contribution of oenologist Carlo Ferrini. Today the property also operates as a relais and a wine tourism hospitality centre.

Production philosophy

The estate focuses on organic farming, a short supply chain and environmental sustainability: all estate-owned vineyards are farmed organically, and the winery favors manual vineyard work and production focused on quality rather than quantity.

Terroir and vineyards

The estate is located on the Colline Matildiche between Parma and Reggio Emilia, in Roncolo di Quattro Castella. The area comprises hills with exposures ideal for producing sparkling wines and Lambrusco, and is home to a historic acetaia.

Awards and recognitions

B Corp certification; the estate was also registered as a Società Benefit. Further recognitions and awards are listed on the official website.
