Conte Vistarino's Pinot Nero Oltrepò Pavese DOC represents one of the most authentic and refined expressions of the Pinot Nero vine in the Oltrepò Pavese region, a wine-growing area in Lombardy particularly suited to this delicate and complex vine. The Conte Vistarino family, pioneers in the cultivation of Pinot Noir in Italy since the 19th century, has been able to make the most of the potential of this vine, thanks to careful management of the vineyards and winemaking techniques that aim to enhance its elegance and finesse.

Located in an ideal position, where the mix of calcareous and clayey soils, the exposure and the particular microclimate contribute to the optimal ripening of the grapes, the Conte Vistarino estate produces a Pinot Noir which is an expression of the richness and diversity of the Oltrepò terroir Pavese. This wine is the result of a scrupulous selection of grapes, harvested manually to guarantee the integrity of the fruit and the highest quality.

The vinification of Conte Vistarino's Pinot Nero Oltrepò Pavese DOC takes place with the aim of preserving the varietal characteristics and territorial identity of the wine. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature, to maintain the freshness and purity of the aromas. The wine is then aged in French oak barriques, which contributes to giving complexity, structure and lightly toasted notes, enriching the bouquet without overpowering the fruit.

At sight, Conte Vistarino's Pinot Noir has a brilliant ruby red color, with garnet shades that highlight its elegance. On the nose, the wine offers a rich and inviting bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and raspberries, enriched by nuances of violet, sweet spices and a light touch of undergrowth, which give depth and complexity.

In the mouth, the wine reveals an elegant tannic structure, well integrated with acidity, which guarantees freshness and drinkability. The flavors of red fruit blend with spicy and balsamic notes, in a harmonious balance that leads to a long and persistent finish, characterized by a pleasant sensation of cleanliness and refinement.

Ideal in combination with meat, poultry, mushroom-based dishes and medium-aged cheeses, Conte Vistarino's Pinot Nero Oltrepò Pavese DOC is a wine that stands out for its ability to combine tradition and innovation, offering an experience tasting that reflects the winemaking excellence of the Oltrepò Pavese and the long-standing commitment of the Conte Vistarino winery in the production of high quality wines.
