The Pinot Bianco vineyards are cultivated on shallow, gravelly alluvial soils with a composition rich in porphyry and skeleton; these places enjoy a particular microclimate where the significant temperature changes between day and night, give the grapes elegance and freshness, together with character and delicacy. The harvest takes place exclusively manually, the vinification begins with a brief contact with the skins followed by a delicate pressing and fermentation at a controlled temperature. The maturation, lasting 10 months, takes place on the noble lees partly in steel tanks and partly in large barrels.
Weissburgunder has a beautiful bright light yellow color with greenish reflections. The bouquet is rich and lively, fresh and fruity with aromas of green apple, pear and quince. The sip is elegant and mineral, pleasantly savory.
It goes perfectly with seafood first and second courses, and is perfect with white meats and fresh cheeses.
