La Beer del Poeta is a tribute to the great writer Giovanni Pascoli. It is produced in Tuscany, a place where the poet had retired in the last period of his life at the behest of his sister, despite his firm will to return to his hometown of San Mauro Pascoli.
A high fermentation light craft beer brewed with Pilsner malt, Carapils and a touch of malted wheat; while the hops used are Saaz for the aroma and Perle for the bitterness.
The blonde version is presented in the glass with a pale straw yellow color, very drinkable and thirst-quenching, it shows from the first sip a light and well-carbonated body, an elegant and bitter taste at the right point. The finish, somewhat persistent in the mouth, makes it an excellent combination with dishes based on white meats, fresh cheeses, steamed fish and not overly stuffed pizzas.
