Piera1899 is one of the reference wineries in the North East of Italy. The company has always been devoted to a single goal: to obtain the best possible quality in wines characterized by pleasantness and matching, able to compete with the greatest winemaking traditions in the world.
The harvest takes place in the first half of September. The harvest is belated, manual, with selection of the grapes. This is followed by brief contact with the skins, soft pressing, decantation of the must and subsequent cooling to 0° C to avoid fermentation. The secondary fermentation takes place in an autoclave for approximately two months starting from the must at a controlled temperature.
For the eyes it is a conquest, thanks to its enchanting cbright golden yellow color, with fine and persistent perlage. Its nose inebriates intense typical varietal aroma with hints of exotic fruit and orange peel, peach and apricot. In the mouth it immediately denotes a svery sweet flavour, with notes of delicate citrus aroma and an aromatic aftertaste that recalls the flavor of muscat grapes, with a pleasant freshness.
A glass that praises quality and tradition but with an eye to the future. An explosion of sweetness that pairs perfectly with all the fresh and dry pastries of the best Italian tradition and with chocolate.
