Nespoli, whose name name is dedicated to the historic village of Nespoli where the winery was born in 1929 and still resides, is a pure Sangiovese with a structured character.
A wine of great complexity with an intense ruby red color. The nose reveals fruity notes typical of Sangiovese such as morello cherry, wild blackberry and plum, with aromas of licorice and toasted coffee obtained from aging in French barriques. A hint of vanilla also comes from the skilful use of a small percentage of American wood. A warm and soft Sangiovese, with very balanced tannins that lends itself well to a long aging.
It goes very well with game and game, it is perfect for braised beef cheek and is very tasty in combination with grilled Florentine and aged hard cheeses.
