The altitude of the Euganean Hills, between 200 and 400 metres, is the ideal place to grow the black Carmenere berries. To produce this elegant wine, the grapes are harvested at the end of September, to then be macerated again with the skin. The vinification is completed with an alcoholic fermentation of 15 days in steel containers. Finally, before proceeding with bottling, the wine is aged for 6/8 months in concrete tanks.
The characteristic ruby red color goes perfectly with the intense scent that recalls nature with its weedy notes and its hint of wild berries. Fruitiness, freshness and balance are, on the other hand, the words that best describe the sensations experienced when drinking wine.
Carmenere Colli Euganei is excellent paired with cured meats, fresh cheeses and meat.
