Piera1899 is one of the reference wineries in the North East of Italy; the company has always been devoted to a single goal: to obtain the best possible quality in wines characterized by pleasantness and combinability, able to compete with the greatest winemaking traditions in the world.
The harvest takes place at the end of August. The grapes are vinified in white. The musts undergo slow fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. A period of maturation in French barriques follows on noble lees for about ten, twelve months with frequent bâttonage. The cuvée is then created to proceed with bottling.
In the goblet it has a ccrystalline and brilliant straw yellow colour. Inebriating on the nose with its wide, delicate bouquet with fruity and floral scents on a woody background. Delight the palate for his elegant structure and excellent gustatory persistence, with a finish towards more complex tones of fruit, dried flowers and slightly toasted notes.
A wine that tells the quintessence of a territory imbued with knowledge, beauty and traditions. A meditation glass to be enjoyed to enjoy a moment of relaxation but also excellent in combination with elaborate fish dishes, aged cheeses, vegetable pies and white meats.
