Alto Moscato Passito dei Marchesi di Gresy is a sweet wine of extraordinary elegance and complexity, produced in limited quantities in the prestigious wine region of Piedmont, Italy. This wine represents the highest expression of Moscato, a grape variety which in this dried interpretation reveals incredible richness and depth.

The production of this Moscato Passito is based on a careful selection of the best Moscato grapes, which are left to dry naturally to concentrate sugars, aromas and flavours. The drying process, followed by slow fermentation and careful maturation, allows us to obtain a wine of great aromatic and gustatory intensity, characterized by a perfect balance between sweetness and acidic freshness.

The 50cl format is ideal for appreciating this precious nectar, allowing it to be shared on special occasions or enjoyed in moments of intimate tasting. Visually, the wine presents itself with an intense golden color, which announces its richness and concentration. On the nose, L'Alto Moscato Passito seduces with an intense and enveloping aroma of ripe fruit, such as peach and apricot, enriched by notes of honey, orange blossom and a light hint of sweet spices, which add complexity to the bouquet.

In the mouth, the wine is an explosion of sweet but balanced flavours, with a range of sensations that goes from candied fruit to honey, from dried fruit to spices, all supported by a lively acidity which guarantees its drinkability and prevents the sweetness from turns out to be cloying. The finish is very long, with a pleasantly aromatic aftertaste that persists, inviting you to take another sip.

Alto Moscato Passito is perfect as a meditation wine or to accompany complex desserts, blue cheeses or foie gras. Its ability to pair with a wide range of flavors makes it an ideal companion to conclude an important dinner or to celebrate special moments.

Produced with passion and dedication by the Marchesi di Gresy, a winery with a long history of excellence in Piedmont, this Moscato Passito is a jewel of Italian viticulture, a wine that enchants and surprises with its richness and finesse, testimony to oenological mastery capable of transforming the noble Moscato into a liquid work of art.

Property of the di Grésy family, with a documented presence since 1797. Martinenga: the family's monopole cru and the center of winemaking. Production focused on elegance and the expression of the terroir. Four estates between the Langhe and Monferrato. Visits and tastings available by reservation; on-site wine resort/hospitality affiliated with the winery.
Winery history
The estate of Tenute Cisa Asinari has been linked to the di Grésy family since the 18th century; the family has owned the Martinenga cru since 1797. Winemaking under the Grésy label in its modern form was begun by Alberto di Grésy around 1973, when the family decided to produce wine exclusively from their own grapes and to promote wines that expressed the identity of the vineyards.
Production philosophy
The estate places great emphasis on vineyard care and on respecting the grape varieties and tradition: winemaking aims to enhance the terroir’s expression without altering it, producing elegant, balanced wines that reflect the character of each vineyard.
Terroir and vineyards
The estates are located across the Langhe and Monferrato and include Martinenga, Monte Aribaldo, La Serra and Monte Colombo. Martinenga is regarded as one of the area’s finest geographical indications, and the grapes from all the estates are generally vinified at the Martinenga winery.
