Franciacorta Cuvèe Alma di Bellavista is the best known and most appreciated Italian sparkling wine in the context of the great Lombard bubbles. Alma is an "affectionate" term towards the earth that generates wonders, from Latin it literally translates into "she who nourishes". And Cuvée is a symbol of our tradition inspired by the pure essence of harmony.
This cuvée represents the essence of Franciacorta and the idea of harmony of the Franciacorta method signed by Bellavista. It is made with mainly Chardonnay grapes, then Pinot Noir and a small amount of Pinot Blanc. In the cellar it is assembled by skilled hands, starting from numerous selections of the harvest and some "reserve" wines from previous years, an indispensable treasure to perpetuate the style of the house over time. Another decisive factor is the fermentation and élevage of part of the base wines in small white oak barrels, capable of adding intensity and complexity.
The color of the wine is straw yellow with green reflections, the perlage is fine and continuous. Wide and enveloping, the aromas range from ripe fruit to fresh flowers, up to notes of vanilla and pastry. In the mouth it is sapid and complete, fresh and vibrant, decidedly coherent on an aromatic level. Long and harmonious finish
