Barolo DOCG - Villero - Giacomo Fenocchio is a label that expresses the quintessence of Barolo, interpreted through the savoir-faire of one of the most respected wineries in Piedmont, Giacomo Fenocchio. This wine comes from the Villero cru, located in the municipality of Castiglione Falletto, the beating heart of the Barolo area, where the terroir stands out for its ability to give the wines exceptional complexity and structure.

Produced exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes, Giacomo Fenocchio's Barolo Villero reflects the winery's dedication to quality and tradition, combining winemaking methods that respect the fruit and the identity of the grape variety. The refinement, carried out in large oak barrels, helps to intertwine the aromatic richness of Nebbiolo with subtle notes of wood, giving life to a wine of great elegance and depth.

At sight, the wine has a garnet red color typical of Barolos, with orange reflections that emerge with aging. On the nose, Barolo Villero expresses an intense and complex aromatic bouquet, dominated by notes of cherry, dog rose, spices and tobacco, together with nuances of leather and wet earth, typical of the noblest expression of Nebbiolo.

In the mouth, the wine offers a solid structure, supported by vigorous but smooth tannins, which blend harmoniously with well-balanced acidity. This complexity translates into a layered palate, where the flavors of ripe fruit and spicy notes evolve towards a long and persistent finish, marked by a pleasant minerality and an aftertaste that recalls the olfactory sensations.

Suitable for accompanying intense and structured dishes, such as grilled red meats, braised meats, game and mature cheeses, the Barolo DOCG Villero - Giacomo Fenocchio also stands out as a meditation wine, capable of evolving magnificently over time and of offering, even after many years , a tasting full of emotions and discoveries.
