Piera 1899 is a solid name and one of the reference wineries in the North-East of Italy; always devoted to a single goal: to obtain the best possible quality in wines characterized by pleasantness and matching, able to compete with the greatest winemaking traditions in the world.
The red vinification takes place with prolonged maceration for 15 - 20 days at a temperature of 26° - 28° C. After the alcoholic fermentation, malolactic fermentation is induced with subsequent refinement on the fine deposit in large barrels until spring.
In the glass it shows a bright ruby red color with purplish veins. The nose releases a pfruity aroma with typical notes of ripe cherry, raspberry, blueberry and blackberry. On the palate it immediately stands out for its good structure and acidity, the wild taste is highlighted, softened by the softness of its tannins.
A wine that tells the quintessence of a territory imbued with knowledge, beauty and traditions; a quality glass ideal for savory first courses, legume soups, also excellent with beef and game.
