There are those who tell the story, tradition and passion with words; Cantina Librandi has chosen to do it through wine. In Cirò, a magnificent corner of Calabria, hard wines are born with a history behind them; this is where it was born Cirò Classic Red. A wine that represents the interpretation and summary of the work of three generations, four owned estates, a deep knowledge of the area, years of collaboration with the best local winemakers and separate vinifications by sub-zone.
The harvest takes place from the last week of September to the end of October. The vinification takes place in thermo-conditioned steel, with delicate pressing of the grapes and short maceration. The refinement is in steel, with a stay in the bottle for a few months before being put on the market.
A typically Calabrian red wine with a ruby color in the glass. The sense of smell is literally captivated by the enchanting fusion of red berried fruit aromas, including cherry and raspberry, and floral notes of violet and red flowers. One drink good body, with good sapidity and pleasant freshness. A goblet of excellent drinkability and harmony that expresses all the tradition and richness of the Calabrian lands; excellent in combination with meat-based courses, game, roasts and first courses with not too seasoned sauces.
