The Rosso Romangia IG - Dettori is born in the evocative region of Sardinia, where the volcanic terrain deeply influences the characteristics of the native grape varieties. This wine primarily comes from Cannonau, a grape variety that offers intensity and structure. The Rosso Romangia stands out for an aging process that enhances the wood without ever overpowering the fruity and spicy profile, creating a harmonious balance.

In the glass, it presents a deep ruby color, accompanied by aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherry and blackberry, delicate hints of sweet spices, and a mineral nuance that recalls the Sardinian terroir. The sip is enveloping, characterized by soft tannins and a pleasant freshness, with a persistent and complex finish.

Perfect with roasted meat dishes, aged cheeses, and Mediterranean cuisine, the Rosso Romangia IG - Dettori expresses the authenticity and strength of Sardinia in every sip.

Winery history
The Dettori family has cultivated the land and produced wine for generations. Sales in demijohns continued until 1981, when Paolo began bottling part of the production. The modern project now known as Tenute Dettori was presented under the heading "1996 – Vignaioli Artigiani del vino e della Terra in Badde Nigolosu." The estate has progressively promoted the pure vinification of ancient local clones and the enhancement of the Badde Nigolosu cru.
Production philosophy
Artisanal agricultural work and minimal cellar intervention: biodynamic farming, hand harvesting, cluster selection, natural macerations and aging exclusively in concrete to express the terroir without the systematic use of wood or additives.
Terroir and vineyards
Badde Nigolosu, a natural amphitheatre in the Romangia del Logudoro. Vines are bush-trained at approximately 250–300 m above sea level, with views over the Gulf of Asinara and protected areas of Mediterranean maquis.
