The Chardonnay Brut Millésimé Grand Cru from the Corbon winery represents a superb expression of the elegance and sophistication of Champagne. Produced with 100% Chardonnay grapes sourced from Grand Cru classified vineyards in the acclaimed Côte des Blancs region, this cuvée is a tribute to purity and precision.

The selected harvest for this millésimé, or specific vintage, allows for the full potential of an exceptional year to be expressed. The winemaking process is meticulously controlled to ensure that the distinctive character of the grapes and terroir is fully reflected in the glass. Prolonged aging on the lees in Corbon's underground cellars adds complexity and depth to this champagne expression.

On the nose, Corbon's Chardonnay Brut Millésimé Grand Cru opens with lively notes of citrus and white-fleshed fruits, followed by hints of white flowers and toasted bread, evidence of the quality of the fermentation. On the palate, the finesse of the bubbles combines with raw freshness and an elegant structure. The palate is clean, with an intense minerality and a long, persistent finish that invites another sip.

Served chilled, this Champagne is ideal as an aperitif or paired with refined dishes like oysters, fish tartare, or even a delicate white truffle risotto. Its elegance makes it perfect for special celebrations or as a prestigious gift for wine lovers.

The Chardonnay Brut Millésimé Grand Cru from Corbon is not only a symbol of celebration but also a true testament to the craftsmanship and quality behind the production of an exceptional Champagne.

Winery history
The Corbon family began acquiring vineyards in Avize as early as the 1920s; for decades they sold their grapes to négociants. After the price crisis of the 1970s, Claude Corbon turned the business into a récoltant-manipulant and began bottling their own champagnes, assembling a collection of vintage Blanc de Blancs from the 1980s. Management passed to the next generation in the 2000s, who has continued the artisanal approach and respect for the terroir.
Production philosophy
Artisanal production with limited cellar intervention: winemaking practices aimed at preserving the expression of the grape variety and the soil, extended aging on the lees, and occasional use of continuous blending for some reserve cuvées.
Terroir and vineyards
Based in Avize, a Grand Cru of the Côte des Blancs, on calcareous-marly soils rich in chalk that promote finesse and minerality, with vineyards also in some communes of the Marne Valley. The official website lists parcels dedicated to Chardonnay, Meunier and Pinot Noir, with indicative surface areas for each vineyard.
